  1. Monitor your progress

No matter how big or small your goals are, it’s best to break them down into smaller goals and monitor your progress. Whether you’re looking to get promoted, transition to a new job, lose weight, eat healthier or gain a promotion, monitoring your progress is the only way to know if you’re succeeding. Make note of the number of application you’re sending out to jobs, how much you eat and how much you exercise. It will help you stay on track, and you’ll build confidence as you see progress.

  • Do the right thing

Confident people live by a set of values that defines who they are. Make sure that you are acting and making decisions for the greater good even when it is hard or not necessarily in your best interests. Ask yourself what the ideal version of you would do, and do it.

  • Be fearless

There’s a tremendous fear of failure that truly cripples many of us. If you set big goals, you’ll inevitably feel like you can’t accomplish them. Learn to break down your goals into smaller tasks. Every successful person has experienced fear, but they still continued to work and take risks. The most important thing is to keep going, one day at a time.

Do you love hiking, kayaking and enjoy the outdoors? Or do you like your couch and watching content on OTT platforms? Whatever it is you love, create space for it, because life is short and you need time to enrich your life in order to be your best self.
